You left this world on that fateful day. I was on duty with our squad in the Narcotics Strike Force on that day, and I still cannot believe what I was hearing. I wear a mourning crepe on my personal badge medallion around my neck since that day September 5, 2008, as a reminder of the sacrifice that you made for all of us, I still wear it to this day. I am honored to have gone to Mayaguez Puerto Rico with several others to escort you to be buried in your place of birth and, I go to your place of rest each time that I go to Puerto Rico. (R.I.P.). Your daughter (Jazmin) has done well in life as you asked that she would as you and I talked on the day before you left this earth outside room 405 in the CJC. God Bless. Keep a place for me to join you on patrol as I will be with you soon.

Remembering our times in the Police Academy, your smile and laughter I still hear it in my heart. We became good friends quickly, taking the bus after the academy because we both didn’t own a car. May you RIP. I miss you my friend. Class # 286

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones today. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones and those still out on patrol. Let your loved ones feel your presence so they know you are watching over them. You have not been forgotten.

They shared and the love they brought into our lives."

I didn't know you personally, but I knew other officers that knew you. I'd seen you maybe once or twice and from what people had been saying, you were one of those people who made people around you laugh or smile. RIP
