Reflections for Police Officer Timothy Allen Haley

Tim, just checking in on you brother- WE must continue to be “my brothers keeper”(Ref: the biblical story of Cain and Abel from the book of Genesis). True leaders are born and already have it in their heart. These men are not made. This is why we have men that just “talk the walk” and the very FEW that “walk the walk”. One of these great leaders finally came along at CPD and was able to finally get you Tim Allen Haley added to our CPD memorial wall in Columbus, Ohio- it will be official in May 2024.. The struggle has been long (15years) but the fight was never given up on by your brothers. Like my grandpa always said “if you ain’t swimming upstream into the battle, you ain’t swimming”. WE love you brother.

Tim, just wanted to tell you that your brothers and sisters of the Columbus division of Police miss you very much- many of your friends think of you often- not just during this time frame of the month but throughout all time- I did not know you as well as many others did but that was my loss -from what I knew you had great content of character and a great soul of a man- I say many prayers for your family which I have only met a few times and will say a prayer to you in Washington DC in May -like me and my wife always do- I am so sorry that leadership has failed you and your family in Columbus Ohio -Not displaying your name (like you are displayed in Washington D.C.) on the Columbus Police memorial wall - Just Because certain words don’t match a criteria- such a tragedy for the citizens of Columbus that you protected with your heart and soul- maybe one day some leader will come along and will get it all figured out- Thank you for your service my brother it did not go un-noticed and never will-

To Mrs. Haley:
I want to say that I am and will be forever grateful to have met you last week during our healing time at National Police Survivors Week. I feel that our husbands are both there together in Heaven and are glad that we were able to share our stories and not only that, our children were able to finally meet each other along with other children in whom they could share their stories and lives without their fathers. They will always know from us and those that loved our husbands, that they are the greatest heroes that ever lived and were very fornunate to be part of such an awesome family called "LAW ENFORCEMENT."
