Rest in peace your warrior soul, John 15:13

Deputy Anthony Forgione, his loved ones and the members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and Fort Walton Beach Police are not forgotten. I recognize July 22nd as a tragic day each year, but mostly reflect on the positive impact Anthony had on all those who encountered him each day he served. He is a true example of a Florida hero who's loss still impacts our law enforcement community. To this day, 245 decals are displayed throughout Okaloosa County. Godspeed my brother.

Tony was not only a fine deputy, but a great person. He was always the first one to offer his help without being asked. He is greatly missed.

Deputy Anthony "Tony" Forgione was taken from so many of us way too soon in his life and so short in his career. He was such an awesome person in so many ways that it's hard to not let a day go by without thinking about him. We are grateful for the friendship and laughs that we shared along the way! You will always be missed but most definitely never forgotten! Thank for you for the ultimate sacrifice that you gave to protect us each and every day!

Your heroism and service is honored on the 5th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Tony, I attended the slain Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu's funeral yesterday, and everytime someone mentioned his name I thought about you. Although I don't live in Florida anymore and work with my brothers and sisters there, I know that all of us in this line of work are connected. Not a day goes by I don't think about ya. You will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace my brother, until we see each other again.

Not a month or sometimes week goes by that I don 't think of you Tony. Thankfully the heartbreak has eased & I am able to remember you & what happened in a positive way. Jesus is a big part of that for me & I know that would make Jessica & your other family feel better about the situation. More than anything, I miss the camaraderie that the team had before losing you. But we never forget, & will honor you in our own special ways. Jessica if you read this please thank your Mother personally for me, for the comment she made about this being no one's fault, & how proud she was of the men who were with him when he passed. That has stuck with me & always will. I love & pray for your family & extended ones almost daily. It's hard not to when "Forg" is forever by my huband's side. Love, peace, & comfort are what I'm sending to you all.

Thinking about you every day! I never had the honor of meeting you, but your story has touched so many lives, including mine. Your service was remarkable, yet incredibly sad. I posted the video I made for you on my facebook on the anniversary - I felt it was the least I could do. I hope you saw it...and I hope it made you smile to know so many people honored you....and still are! REST IN PEACE
