Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Andy,

Just writing to say hey. I know your looking down on all of us, and I can feel it. I can't say it enough that Susanna is one strong woman, and the kids are great. Tina and I miss you. I can't wait till Andy is old enough for me to explain to him why he carries your name.

Andrew, nobody would know the meaning of Christmas better than you. I only wish you were still here to spend it with your family. Let me tell you your kids are adorable. I know you are still watching over them. You are still and always will be in our thoughts. God Bless you and your family.

Early this morning, it’s been a year since you have been unfairly taken from your beloved family and many people who loved and treasured your friendship. You have touched a countless number lives in your short-lived 30 years; some lives, you don’t even know you touch – mine included. May God continue to Bless your magnificent family, friends, and the entire FMPD community. FMPD #413 – Gone… but NEVER forgotten.

We all miss you so much Andy. I could repeat what your other friend's have said about how incredibly Susanna has come through this, or about your children and how much of you is reflected in their faces and their individual personalities, but what I keep thinking about today is how you are a constant reminder to me that a life lived wholly open to God is a successful life--even when its not fitting into the plan WE had for it. Jeremiah 29:11. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

I was in Washington DC all last week with your family for LEO week. Seeing your name on the wall, brings back the emotions. It really hits home since I have three children as well. It makes me and everyone else realize that family comes first. When I graduated from the academy, a good friend told me "God,Family then the Job" . Your family is doing OK. They all know that your looking down over them.

Andy,
Krystal and I were talking about my accident a couple of months ago. She asked me what the first thing I did, once I realized what was about to happen. I told here I went to reach for a picture and I looked at your ribbon I had pinned to my visor. While I was looking at it I asked for your help to get me through this. Andy I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for helping me make it through this. I will never forget you Andy....Never.

Andy,

Wanted to let you know that Tina and I saw Susanna and the kids yesterday, and they are all beautiful. You would be so proud of Susanna for how strong she is. When I look at the three little ones all I see is you, especially Samuel. Sylvia is just perfect. Sasha seams to have no fear in her. I know you are looking down on all of us, and I feel you with me every day that I am working. We all miss you Andy!
