To Twinsburg officers: I have a father who is a Cleveland Hts. officer and unfortunately can relate to the pain you feel and the great loss you have suffered in losing a brother officer. I am praying for you and will ask God to watch over you as you move forward and continue to serve the community. I am grateful for such an officer that was a genuinely good person in all aspects of his life. Twinsburg has suffered a terrible, terrible loss. To his wife and baby Thea, my prayers are for you as well. My heart hurts for you everytime I hear about this story. God's grace will be sufficient and I hope you find some comfort in how much people loved Josh and want to be there for you as well. God bless you all and may Officer Josh Miktarian rest in peace.

As a Police Officer with a wife, a 3 year old daughter, and another little one on the way any day, my heart breaks for Officer Maktarian, his wife, and his little girl. When every shift ends I thank God that I am able to return home to my family, and sadly because of some thug, Josh wasn't able to return home Sunday morning. Josh, I ask that you please look over all of your brothers and sisters in Blue as you patrol the streets of Heaven. Holly, please know that the law enforcement community will never leave you or Thea. We love you and are here for you.

God Bless You Josh,
A fellow Brother in Blue

Officer Miktarian,

I arrived home to visit my family when I heard the terrible news. Prior to joining the FBI I was a police officer in the City of Euclid. It is always a tragedy to lose a brother, but it always hits home when you lose a brother from your home state.

Your family will be in our prayers. Thank you for your service.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Officer Miktarian & the Twinsburg Police Department. We, here at the Polk County Sheriff's Office know what it's like to lose an officer. Back on September 28, 2006, K-9 Deputy Matthew Williams & K-9 DiOGi were shot & killed during a routine traffic stop. They responded to another officer who called for help & when they arrived on the scene the suspect took off running into the woods. D/S Williams & his K-9 partner took off after him & D/S Williams was shot in the head three times, at close range, & K-9 also shot & both dies at the scene. So, we here at the Polk County Sheriff's Office know exactly what you all are going through. We offer our deepest sympathies & you are all in our thoughts & prayers. May God bless & keep you all.
