Your heroism and service is honored today, the 52nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace

was a classmate of Harold in the academy and remeber him well. I can still hear the loud sobs of anguish of his wife during his church service. it was heartbreaking and during all of these years i have been unable to remove those sounds from my memory. have thought of Harold often and always will. God bless and keep him.

Your partner on that tragic night, Chuck Covington, went 10-8 in Heaven on May 7, 2005. He was a man of valor and courage, just as you were. In fact, he ensured that your killer had an immediate appointment with the All-Mighty, even though he (Chuck) had sustained two gunshot wounds to his chest from a .45 caliber pistol. He made sure that nobody ever forgot the sacrifice you made, and I know he was looking forward to reuniting with you.
May the two of you rest in eternal peace, and I look forward to meeting you after I've collected my retiremnt checks for 30 years or so.

No one should have a listing on the ODMP and not also have a reflection. Deputy, I didnt know you personally however your badge says what you stood for and that makes you a hero. Rest in peace.
