Henry was my Great Grandfather. Almost 100 years later I am writing on his wall as the Chief of Police for the Grants Pass Dept. of Public Safety in Grants Pass, Oregon where I am in my 25th year of service. I have Henry's badge, handcuffs, leather sap, and brass knuckles that he carried as a Railroad Detective. I am honored to have followed in your foot steps Henry knowing that you made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of others.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 96th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
