Reflections for Forest Ranger John Sidney Mott
What is a man's life worth? Does it carry less weight than a technical error? This was a travesty of justice and I hope the murderer who fired the shot suffered in some way the rest of his, assuming he is not alive now. God bless you, Ranger Mott. Thank you for doing a great job and making the world a better place by your example.

Ranger Mott,
It has taken almost 71 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just as a LEO, but also as a Soldier. And I whole heartedly agree with the previous reflection about the scumbags that murdered you.

These four morons murdered a law enforcement officer who was only doing his job after THEY broke the law. They murdered him over a stinking deer. Then, they were allowed to go free. This was a complete miscarriage of justice and I can only hope they faced true justice at some later date, if not in this life, then in the next.
Ranger Mott, you are a hero and I thank you for your service to this nation in both your capacity as a Ranger, but also in your capacity as a Soldier. Those four, whomever they were, are now disgraceful parts of American history, you sir, are an honored part.
God Bless you and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
