I am privileged to be among the first to leave a reflection Your heroism and service is honored today, the 103rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

Chief Forrest,
It has taken over 99 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Cordele. I think it was a travesty of justice that your murderer was only sentenced to 10 years.
