Reflections for Captain Charles Ariant

Capt. Ariant,
On today, the 120th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Louisiana. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 108th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered

The Lord is my Shepherd

I shall not want

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures

He leadeth me besides the still waters

He restores my soul

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death

I shall fear no evil

For thou art with me

Thy rod and they staff they comfort me

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

And I shall dwell in the House of the Lord Forever.

Capt. Ariant,
It has taken over 104 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Louisiana. There is no job in Law Enforcement tougher then that of a Coreections Officer.
