To the family and friends of Sergeant Liczbinski,

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone...I have first hand knowledge of what you all are going thru during this very tragic time...I lost my husband January 17, 2008 while he served a narcotics warrant in Chesapeake, Virginia...The best advise that I was given and I would like to pass on is that he was a "True Hero and will never be forgotten...He gave all and expected nothing in return." Sergeant Liczbinski rest in peace and keep all our brothers and sisters in blue safe!!!

Sargeant Liczbinski,
Once again my heart breaks, once again my tears flow at the news that another Phila. Police Officer is taken. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please continue to look after your family, and our city.
Now that you have joined too many Phila. Police Officers in heaven, including Officers Skerski, and Cassidy,
please gather together and help us bring about changes necessary to return Philadelphia to being, "The City of Brotherly Love." Thank you for everything.
"Let's Go Flyers!"
Sincerely,

My heart breaks for Sgt. Liczbinski's family--especially upon hearing that you had to sit through details of your loved one's last moments. I, too, know that pain and I pray for you. You've been in my thoughts every day since he was killed and I hope you know that you have the love and support of your huge law enforcement family and those of us who have also been touched by tragedy. God bless.

I read this site regularly and this particular incident touched me very deeply. It is hard to lose anyone we love but to do so in such a manner and at so young an age is devastating. The only real comfort you may have is in God and the knowledge that this young man was doing something he obviously loved and something that made him proud. This world is in a very bad way and it is men and women like Stephen who try to keep the rest of us safe. I hope that his death will not be in vain and that others will learn to appreciate what these people do and the courage they display every day just by going to work.

May God bless and keep Stephen's family and friends in his loving arms and bring them comfort in this time of grief.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our sincere condolences to the Liczbinski Family and the Philadelphia P.D.
