Tony,
You were the one who fulfilled my dream of becoming a police officer. Although I only served under your command for two years before transferring to another department, I am forever in your debt. You were the best leader that I ever worked for. Your loss was devastating and I miss and think of you to this day.

Tony, you were one of the only men to make the transition from patrolmen to Chief and still keep the respect and admiration of all those around you. It was truly a sad day when you were lost, and we all lost a true friend with your passing. I think of you often my friend. Rest in peace.

Chief Anthony Terminelli was my uncle. Not only just my uncle but my FAVORITE uncle. When I was a little girl I would look at him and think "boy he sure is good looking", and as I grew up into adulthood I would look at him and think "MAN! He is GORGEOUS!". I use to tease my Aunt Laurie that if she wasn't my favorite Aunt, I'd give her a run for her money. My uncle was a great man, he could do no wrong. I loved him very much. Thank you Uncle Tony for your work and dedication to the force. You are missed daily. God bless you.

Chief Terminelli,
All that was needed to get you properly honored on the ODMP was verification of your courageous foot pursuit and capture of the suspect, which led to your fatal heart attack. I went to the Star Ledger archives, purchased the article and forwarded it to Chris. He immediately added your name to the site, and rightfully so. You are a hero who now will be known to all who visit this site.

Rest in Peace Chief Terminelli. You will always be remembered for your courageous service and sacrifice. You did not lose your life, you gave it in service to others. A true HERO indeed.

I pray that your wife will one day prevail in her fight to get the pension she so deserves. It is a travesty that she has been denied. You fought the good fight for 23 years and faithfully served the citizens of Washington. We will always remember that faithful service.

Chief Terminelli, Never Forgotten.
