I thought of you today, remembering all the fun we used to have during the hot summer nights in the 80's. We used to sit and chat, play cards, laugh and joke around all the time. You had one of the most brightest smiles that was so illuminating, it could brighten anyone day. Just want you to know that you will forever have a place in my heart. I love you soo much, we were family always and forever. You are greatly missed.

Kenny we salute you remembering the day you left

The power of Love

Kenny we have embraced new dawns without your wonderful presence. Our ears ache to hear the sound of your voice that was once full of laughter and wisdom, now forever silent. The pain that we feel is relentless and the depth of this pain travels deep.
Tears continuously flow, loosing you was horrific and everyday without you is a struggle, babe we miss you so much.

We reflect on a past that’s filled with precious memories’ forever captured in our hearts.
On the day you left you took a piece of our hearts with you, things will never be the same you were a vital part of our lives. If only we could turn back the hands of time, life with you was a wonderful ride, thank you for everything.

The greatest gift that God gave unto man was love and the love we shared was powerful, the perimeter of death is unable to defeat that magnificent power.
Loving you was the greatest; and that love has taught us how to live with a broken hearts.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow always forever we’ll love you Kenny Michael Duncan

Painfully, Your family.

Heartfelt thank you to the many, many well wishers that have sent up prayers of comfort on our behalf, may the heavens in return bestow abundant blessings upon you all.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

To the family and friends of Correctional Officer Kenneth Duncan and the members of the New York City Department of Corrections:

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Officer Duncan was tragically killed.

To Officer's Duncan, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in the Bay Area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Kenneth gave to his community and the citizens of New York, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on April 22, 2008

To those who loved Officer Duncan, my heart goes to you all. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. It's been a long hard road, and even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Kenneth will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Officer Duncan for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. Dennis was a good man and we miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne
