So nice to find this site, and see our Fallen Heroes are being honored ~ no matter how long ago it was they lost their life in the line of duty. Chief Samuel Taylor wife was my great grandmother's sister. I am still searching records to see if the man responsible for his untimely death was ever caught and brought to justice ~

Thank you, Uncle Sam, for your service to the citizens of Barnesboro, PA!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 106th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace
