My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Special Agent Sellars, you lost your life while protecting freight belonging to customers of the Atlantic Coast Line. This petty thievery cost you your life while protecting one of America’s most vital assets its Railroads. You are a hero. On this 102nd anniversary of your brutal murder at the hands of petty thugs, I thank you for your efforts and salute your dedication to duty.

It warms my heart to see more and more of the railroad and other "Special Police" included in this site. Agent Sellars, I pray you hear and know my heartfelt thanks for the difficult job you did, and for the huge sacrifice you made for your company and your community. I pray that God's love washes over not only you, but all who sprang from your life.
