Dustin,
Can't believe it has been 3 years since you left us. I know that you and Danny are keeping everyone safe. I miss you my little brother, but never forget the friendship that I was honored with. The good times that we all shared in the academy. The sushi bar that Kristy talked us into going to. You were always a source of laughter and smiles, but boy look out if you got angry. I think of you and Danny everynight and pray that you are keeping us all safe until the time that God feels like our end of watch is here. Please be there to greet us should we arrive. I see you dad and mom sometimes and they are always there to bring us up if we feel down. They are so very proud of you, and so am I. We all miss you very much. I love you my brother.

I was just sitting here thinking of you again. It is hard for me to fathom that it has been 3 years since God called you home. I guess I am a selfish person, because I want to be able to hear your voice on the radio again, and to see that ever so present smile. You are always in my heart and mind. I know that I am safer because you are watching over me. I am blessed to have had you in my life and honored to have known you. God love you my big buddy Dustin, cause I do.

Dustin, I miss you and I can't believe that it has been 2 years. Sometimes I can't believe that its true that you are no longer on this earth protecting us. Now your in heaven and watching over us all. I am still so honored to have known you, to call you my friend, and for you to be my big little brother. I need your watchful eye to continue to look out for me in my duties. I am so thankful that we got to be closer going to the academy together, even tho it seems like an eternity. I miss you and love you dearly, and one day hope to see you again. Watch over Danny also, because that is just the way you are. Protecting your friends as always.

Dustin,
I was just sitting here and thinking that it will soon be 2 years since I have seen you. My life holds a void that will never be filled. You were always my big little brother. We were even closer after we shared the academy together. The things we got into, well better left unsaid. You were always there if I needed help or if you were close enough to give back up. There are many special brothers and sisters in blue in our family, but no one will ever replace you, your smile, your bear hugs and your warmth. Keep watch over us all down here, I miss you terribly.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.
