Detective Kelley, today marks the 97th anniversary of your tragic death. My Dad spent about 5 years as a Police Officer with the New York Central and told me all about checking the seals. It’s a mundane job but an important one. Walking a freight yard is a dangerous prospect but in order to do your job, you have to walk them. How sad for your family and colleagues that simply doing your duty took your life. For all your efforts in helping to protect one of America’s Railroads, you are a hero and you have not been forgotten.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
