Your heroism and service is honored today, the sixty-third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I am glad that there was swift justice for the monster who murdered you and his own family. May he rot in hell.

It has taken 59 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of George County. It took another three years, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.
