I have been at Lake Success PD since 1997 and have lived in Smithtown since 2002. We were living and working so close together and didn't even know it. The last time I remember seeing you is around graduation from HBHS in '88. I am so sorry to here you are not with us anymore. May you Rest In Peace Brother. Thomas,

5 years has passed and it still feels like 5 minutes. I miss everything about you and wish you were still with us. Unfortunately that's not possible so I struggle everyday to go on without you in our lives. I am strong and I feel your guidance with me all the time. I always ask myself "What would Thomas do?".

You guide my sail and are always in my heart.

I love and miss you,

Your Brother,

Justin

Your heroism and service is honored today, the fourth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to our country and the supreme sacrifice you and your family made. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I wept when I read the words you had written about your son. I hope your friends and family are there for your wife and son and that your friends and male relatives realize that no matter how wonderful a mother may be it is hard for a woman to teach a man how to be a man. Please be there for this hero's son.

Tom, february 28th just passed and I can't believe it has been 14 years since we met in the police academy. We became quick friends and had a blast for those six months. Those memories will last a lifetime. I'm so glad that we were able to remain close friends. So many times when I go to they gym I feel that you will be by the squat rack getting ready to train your legs or on the treadmill where we could talk about the latest supplements. Tom, you're on my mind all the time and I miss you dearly. I'll never forgot the times we spent together. You've finally been recognized as a hero, but to me you've always been my hero.
