Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. . Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

I agree that this was a travesty of justice since the brutal coward only got 05 years for your murder! Thank you for your bravery, dedication and sacrifice. May your descendents take comfort in the knowledge that you will FOREVER be a hero and will NEVER be forgotten!

Chief Wells,
It has taken over 86 years but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Norton. I think it was a travesty of justice that your murderer was sentenced to only five years.

You are remembered today as you join the ranks of the many heros on this website.

This writer is very disappointed that justice was not appropriately served on your behalf.

God Bless you Sir for your sacrifice. Please keep watch on all those out there protecting us every day.
