Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I recently found found out that you had served with this agency. I want to tell you that officers here appreciate your service and your sacrifice for keeping the citizens in this town safe. Pitt County will be having their Rememberance Ceremony on May 8th 2008 and your name will be added to the list of fallen officers in Pitt County.
