I met Jason riding motorcycles with Officer Allen of Cleveland Heights PD. I did not know at the time how he would impact my life. He is very instrumental in our Criminal Justice Program to this day. Every year he is honored by a graduate of the program by them receiving a scholarship in his name.
He impacted this community to the point that everyone donates to this cause and our students are continuing their education and becoming law enforcement personnel in his footprints.
Thank you Lita Gonzales for making this possible and
GodSpeed Jason!!!!!

It's hard to believe that its been 9 years already... but.. I still remembering hearing the tones go out ... and listening to it all unfold on my scanner. I was in my cruiser and I was on patrol. I remember the horse draw carriage at your funeral.. and... how we lined the streets for MILES as you passed us... I remembering listening to the service.. and the bagpipes. Your service has not been forgotten.. RIP JW

I did not really know him but my daughter and her husband were friends with him. I know he was well liked among the high school kids and I know that he work at some of the games and the dances I just want to express how sorry I am for your lost no parent should have to bury a child. Police officers are special gifts from God because they risk their lives for people they don't know. And even though they know they might not make it home they continue to serve and protect. I hold a them in my heart and pray and in my spirit. Rise in Peace Jason West

Jason, I think about you every single day and I miss you very much. You and I grew apart but I hope you know that you were always in my heart, and I will love you forever. I visit your grave, but don't feel you there. I just hope that you know that I think about you still.
