Reflections for Police Officer Thomas Lindsey

„Proszę przyjmijcie wyrazy najszczerszego
współczucia i żalu.
Wiem że nikt i nic nie wypełni już tej luki
w Waszych sercach,
lecz pamiętajcie że nie umiera ten
kto trwa w pamięci bliskich.
Przeznaczenie odebrało Cię
zbyt szybko rodzinie i przyjaciołom,
ale nigdy nie odbierze Cię
naszej pamięci i naszym sercom.”..Spoczywaj w spokoju.

That night lives on in infamy. I grew up in Utica and I'm 56 now. There isn't another single event that I've seen hurt that city like the night they lost you. People have told me stories about you, and there has never been a word spoken about you other than about the truly great person you were. I am sorry they lost you. Thank you for all those things you did to protect the weak and the vulnerable. I wish I had known you. Rest easy faithful servant, God will always remind us of what you gave.

God Bless The Utica Police Department. God Bless The Direct Deployment Team.
Thank You to Officer Lindsey for All of Your Dedication.
It is so unfair that the Good perish in the sacrifice to serve and protect.
He was good to me during racially tense times when President Obama was approaching His term.
He was instrumental in confiscating cocaine that had infected Central New York and along route 5 and thruway.
Fraternities were exploiting females into unspeakable situations.
I had precious, dark skinned Lady friends that deserved so much better than to be treated like "modern day" slaves.
May good people stand in the gap and continue to fight the good fight.
I pray that there is increased Police force numbers and that Live PD/ Cops come back on the air.
I'm sorry that I was unable to attend the Funeral.
I look forward to Police forces and Security Guards cooperating and not manipulating their great responsibility.
He helped rectify terrible crimes committed in Oneida County Jail by corrupt Guards. It involved I.D. theft and other unspeakable events.
Many innocent lives were lost or jeopardized.
Life Is Sacred.
Lord Jesus Christ. The same Yesterday, Today and Forever.
Some times We have to "go through the motions" as Life seems miserable without Our Loved Ones.
Divine Providence does and will provide.
When I hear Jon Secada music, I think of Him.
When I hear Sophie B. Hawkins music; I know that His Life helped save mine - as I worked with The Syracuse DDT.
Donald Goppert; Class Of 1994 - Syracuse University/S.U.N.Y. E.S.F. He knew me as "Kicking Horse".
We always showed respect towards each other.
Which is hard to find.
We live in a world where lie dominate and the truth is shuddered at.
Suggested listening "The Battle Hymn Of The Republic".
Love, Donnie.

Without ever meeting you, you had a major impact on my career. A week before I completed my academy in Watertown, NY our class attended your services on April 18th. I will never forget your name, your story, nor your sacrifice. In fact, I share your story when I instruct traffic stops every April at our local academy in St. Lawrence County. Rest easy brother.

Tommy. 6 years later and we still feel the pain and loss. My only hope is that your sacrifice will remind people that true heroes don't wear sports jerseys, produce movies or music or win elections. True heroes wear badges, turnout gear, carry Med bags and wear Dog Tags.

Five years ago today at 9:21pm I, along with many others lost a friend. Tommy was doing what he loved to do when he was killed by a coward. Not a day passes where you’re not thought of and talked about. You are sorely missed bro…..

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Tom, we are remembering you on your day. Unlike the day you were taken from us, cold and rainy, today the sun is shining and keeping us warm. This must be a sign from you that you are watching over us. RIP my friend.
