Miss you dad. It brought tears to my eyes today as i woke up early and went to the beach for the sunrise. I was thinking how much i wish you were there with me. And then all of these sun rays came out from behind the clouds and relaized you are still watching out for us :)You have so many people thinking of you today. I love you and miss you so much.

Thinking of your family today, LT. I had a nagging feeling all morning and didn't know why until I realized that today is the anniversary of your death. I'll never forget that night, and the screams of "officer down." I'll never forget 25 and I saying goodbye to you at the hospital. You are still missed and you are never forgotten. Praying for your wife and kids today. My heart is with them.
