Reflections for City Marshal George Tabler

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 123rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

Marshal Tabler, you were only recently remembered, but you will never again be forgotten. May God bless you richly in heaven.

Marshal Tabler,
It has taken over 120 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Longview.

Although Marshal Tabler's death took place over 100 years ago, he will still be remembered for his service and dedication. His life was also so short (30 years), however as someone once said, "one's life is not measured by his duration, but by his dedication."
