Babe...I will never forget you and no one in this world can replace you as a husband, father or person. You protected and loved our family just as much as you did the streets of Newark. You ARE our HERO & a LEGEND that can never be forgotten. You left us now but I will do the best to step up and take care of our family just as you did. I will make sure our children will look at your picture everyday so they will never forget the beautiful smile you gave them. I will talk about you everyday so they remember what a wonderful irreplacable father they had. You were my best friend, my backbone and now I feel so empty and heartbroken. YOU were the one that gave me the best years of my life and taught me so much about love. I will miss you BABY. You were just another angel that I met. I love you!

A POLICEMAN'S PRAYER

Dear Lord, be with me on my beat
This day and every day.
Grant that each weary block I walk
May ease a brother's way.
Let me be kindly to the old
And to the young be strong,
But let me triumph over those
Who's acts are cruel and wrong.
And when my own last summons comes
And I stand in front of your court,
Lord, may my rest with you be long,
And my punishment be short.

Condolences to the entire Popolizio Family and to the entire Newark police Department.

Patrolman
Newark police Department, Nwk. N.J.
