As I take time to remember you Pop three months after losing you , I’m comforted in the memory that you dedicated your life to the same principles of honor, duty, and courage that has brought you and others to stand behind the badge. Such a life is truly blessed. Take strength in knowing that when you left us, your brothers duty to serve those in need did not alter. Their dedication to assisting and protecting those in need is not weakened. My commitment to remembering you who stood behind the badge does not fade...

God speed, brother, your job here is completed, you fought the good fight. Rest in peace Pop. I miss you.
