Tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of the day we lost you. Five years... seems like so long at times... other times it seems like just yesterday I touched you. We miss and love you so much, Tony.

All my love,

Today Officer Brad Jones was laid to rest in the company of his family, friends and law enforcement family. I pray you greeted him in the early hours of October 29th with your warm smile and open arms. We ask that God watch over his family and friends, just as so many have asked the same for us.
We miss you so much, Tony. I long for the day when I will see you again. I love you, babe.

Another young Glendale officer lost, and you must have been there to greet him. Take care of each other until we are all together again.

Every minute, every moment, every breath Tony......
I miss you so.

I was pretty new to Glendale when Tony was killed. I had only been on my own for about four months. I had lateraled in from California after six years as a cop there. Tony really did not know me but every single time we ran into each other at the station or on a call, Tony always had a big smile and a "Hey buddy" for me. That is what I will always remember. R.I.P. Hey Bad Boy, still missing you on this the third anniversary of giving you back to God. Remembering the day we walked thru the thick, swirling fog, cresting the top of that hill, acting like a crew of cowboy lawmen just blowing into town to take care of business; the day you guys became the Bad Boys..... Never a day when I don't miss you, today more than others.... Save a place for me.
Love you.

RIP brother - God Bless you. We will never forget this day, it changed many of our lives, each in different ways. I have shared many good times with your family, they have become like my own, my husband and kids have also gained great friendships with your family, and for that I am so thankful. We continue to try and live by your example. We shed tears for our great loss today but know that you are in Heaven rejoicing and watching over us. Thank you Tony.

Always remembered & honored for his service & his ultimate sacrifice. I am so relieved to know that he was committed to the one true Lord who can bring all those who mourn his loss to a place where they will one day see Tony again.

Tony,
I met you about seven years ago through a friend, and have never been the same since. When you came into the restaurant, I knew instantly that you were quite an individual! Although we quit speaking about two years before you passed away, I still think of you and smile everyday. I love you very much and miss you terribly. I will always remember those blue eyes and smiling face. Thank you for your love, friendship, and positive attitude towards life. I will see you again one day. ^i^

Your brother wrote the most moving and beautiful story about your close love, friendship, and shared experiences. It was a beautiful tribute that brought tears to my eyes. It was published in a national magazine, and I know you are looking down with pride.

I was thinking about the time that you were out with Jim all day and we were waiting for you guys to get home to eat dinner. I sent a text to Jim jokingly demanding that he "bring back my Tony". He responded "He was mine first." He got me on that one. When you heard about it, you gave a big smile and said you would happily meet both of our demands. It's just one of thousands of moments that go through my mind throughout the day -- replaying over and over so clearly as if they just happened. You will always be in the hearts and minds of so many people who knew you well or simply encountered you as an officer or a passerby, each with their own Tony story.
You go by so many names such as "my Tony", "my son", "my little bro", "my friend" and even "Cabana boy". Each name comes with its own set of stories that won't be forgotten -- stories that bring tears to our eyes to recount but also make us smile knowing that new stories will come soon enough when we see you again. While it's very difficult, I know we need to stay focused on that moment when we will all be reunited. It gives us hope and makes it a little easier to get through each day.
You are missed so very much...SO VERY MUCH.
All my love,
-B
