Constable Price; Thank you for your service. this year will mark the 3rd annual recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day. It will mark the first time your name will be read aloud and a Texas Flag will be presented in your Honor. On May 15, 2013, the Titus County Historical Commission Chair and the Titus County Veterans service Officer, Steve Austin, will begin the campaign to erect a Peace Officers Memorial on the Courthouse grounds.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
