To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Dear John:
Unfortunately, you like so many of our fellow officers, have had to make the supreme sacrifice. But you served us well, John, and I am certain that your ancestors can take pride in the fact you were an honorable man. And justice was served, with those bastards being convicted and spending the rest of the natural life in prison.
Walk the streets of Heaven, brother, and be at peace. We have the watch now. Amen
