Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 121rst anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

For all the reflections that I have written to our fallen brothers, this is only the second time I have had the honor and priviledge to be the first to leave a reflection to a fallen brother. (Ironically, the first was just moments ago). And it is an honor, though a dubious one at that. The writing of reflections to fallen brothers is becoming almost a daily event, one that upsets me greatly.
It's been 115 years since you made the supreme sacrifice. But you now have the respect and the memorial you so richly deserved all these years. Thank you for being there at a time when America needed all the lawmen she could muster to stand up for peace and law and order. Rest in peace.
