Reflections for Police Officer James R. Dodd
Sir. I have seen your picture hanging on the wall of my Grandparents house since I was a little boy. It has always made me smile and feel proud inside. Recently I have began tracing my family tree. And I find you here.
I am proud to say thank you 100 years late, my Great Great Grandfather. And that you will not be forgotten by me, my children, or my grandchildren.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace
