Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and twenty-eighth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Oldham County was practically next door to where I grew up. There is a lot of history around Vega, TX and Im glad your service and sacrifice is at last being honored in that history. Thank you for paving the way for future generations to learn from and to have history to look back on.
