Reflections for Railroad Detective Landon J. Osborn
Far too often railroad police officers are not noticed or not acknowledged. I am glad to see Detective Osborn honored here. Justice may be blind, but these officers are the healthy eyes of the rails. God bless Landon J. Osborn, and his fellow high-iron officers for their work and countless sacrifices.

Detective Osborn, we may never know if the driver who killed you received the justice he/she deserved, but you sir, are doubtlessly in Heaven and keeping watch over the old C & O's current lines.
God Bless and Rest in Peace, Brother.
