Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and twentieth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Officer Epperson,
117 years ago you laid your life down for the citizens of your state, and for the ideals we all still stand by. Your memory still lives on, and your name will forever be remembered along with those other heros who have paid the ultimate price for justice.
Thank you for your service, sir. May God hold you close in his hand, and may He watch over all who continue to stand on the line.
Rest in peace.
