Rest in Peace, Brother. Your service here will never be forgotten. Stand tall as you enter Paradise to begin your eternal watch. Though it is a tragedy that you were called away in this manner, we are fortunate to have you looking over the brothers & sisters in blue.

Help your wife and children through this tumultuous time by watching over them and letting them find comfort in knowing that they are why you were the man you were and the hero that you are. Their support and their sacrifices in sharing you with your community are greater than they know. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Pass the sword now and we will continue the battle with the honor, courage and integrity that you have exemplified.

To the family of Agent Ericsson, we are so incredibly sorry for your loss. The unexpected and tragic loss of a beloved family member and officer recently made for the worst day of our lives. While nothing will bring Agent Ericsson back, please know how many people are here for you. The Oklahoman police force will overwhelm you with kindness and care. I never recognized how much respect I had for policemen than in the days after my brother-in-law's death. God bless you and your children, family, extended family and friends. I only wish that my brother-in-law could stand with honor guard to honor Agent Ericsson. But hopefully they are together discussing how much they loved all of us.
