I wore that badge for 8 1/2 years. I always thought of those who wore it before I did. I was very proud to walk in the same shoes as you. Rest in Peace Deputy Johnson.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect. Your memory will always be remembered and revered.

Rest In Peace

Even though it was a very long time ago that he was a Deputy Sheriff. I wore this same patch for 8 1/2 years. It is an honor to wear the same uniform as the ones that were there before I was. Thanks for setting the stage for the ones came after you.
