I wish I could have done more for you,that night, Bill! I am, however, calmed by the knowledge that you continue your duty to watch over us in heaven with the Lord. I wish peace for you and your family. That day was the first time I met you, but I think of you often! I have served in EMS in variable roles, ED nurse, SWAT medic, Navy corpsman, Flight nurse, thousands of cases, but few stick in my mind like the night Bill was taken. Peace be with you Sgt McEntee

As we approach the anniversary of Sgt. McEntee's death, a time of year that others will be celebrating the holiday, my thoughts and prayers are with the McEntee family, Kirkwood PD and all other brothers and sisters in blue.
