Reflections for Officer Charles S. Swinney
Even as you were dying you made sure your killers identity was known to fellow officers. This helped them get your killer not only off the streets but helped protect others from him. I wish the ending was different, with you surviving. A hero to the end. thank you for your service.

This is a loss that will never be forgotten. Hours will turn into days, days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years but, the difference that these officers have made will last forever.

I just read the newly posted memorial for Dallas Police Officer Charles S. Swinney. It has been nearly 80 years since his death. I salute Officer Swinney for his service as well as his sacrifice.
It is my prayer that the men and women of the Dallas Police Department be held in the hand of the Almighty and kept safe from harm. God bless each of them.
