Your heroism and service is honored today, the 45th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

Richard, It's been almost 40 years since graduation at old Belmont HS in Los Angeles. Remember we spent graduation night with a few others, as we headed in our own directions. I guess you didn't get to enjoy too much of life after that, and as I look at your picture from the Campanile, I will remember those good old days. RIP

I was only 13 when died. I don't remember him well. But I do and have lived in Arizona for along time. I Was just at my Fathers 77th birthday in Barstow, CA. We talked about and remembered Uncle Richard. They had the same Father but different mothers. I have been working on family history. Richard died on my mothers birthday. He was so young. Just wanted to say he's not forgotten. With Love his niece, Christine Kurth Hamilton
