My name is Anita Santini, I had not seen these posts until today. Thank you all so much for the kind words. I am his only living daughter at 67. He died 3 days after my 12th birthday, I remember it well and think of him every day. He was my father and my best friend and when it’s my time I hope to see you. A very big piece of me died with you and nothing was ever the same again. I love you and miss you so much. You were a wonderful father and a good man. Anita

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
