Reflections for Patrolman Thomas Drumane Catchings

Patrolman Catching, without your quick action and sacrifice, your killer may have taken countless other lives. God bless you.

You went beyond the call of duty. You knew the dangers and consequence. But it was the love and bravery in you that saved others who could have been hurt had you not did what you did. That is the ultimate sacriface. May your loved ones and co workers, family and friends be comforted by the Almighty God and that they may receive strength and guidance from this day forward. I pray that the joy of the Lord be their strength because you are a part of that joy. Imagine how heaven glows with all those beautiful angels (all fallen officers). Though I may not have known Patrolman Catchings, he is a part of family to all of us who serve in law enforcement. As one body, we uplift one another in prayer which proves to be very powerful. God bless.

A dedicated,integrity,courage ,brave officer people that he knew; our long time friend,pal and buddy when this day goes by,Officer Catchings always has a smile on his face,we all miss you.
Protecting the innocent as a motorcycle officer patrolling his beat, he wears his uniform with pride,respect and neat.

Officer Thomas Catchings was the best friendliness man whom we all know, you could ask him for about just anything he had that shiny enormous glow. The most respectable law officer in and around our community talking to the old elderly and young people,too make our city safe in a live-able place, there's too much hatred and viloence towards our black race.

He was a honorable father to his children,a husband to his wife, this dedicated officer love people everyday he had a good life.
The Ultimate scarifice in the line call of duty,which bring tears of sadness too my eyes, of wonderful cheerful moments him and his other collegeaues have shared over the years.
Officer Catchings takes his job very seriously upholding the law of this great promise land no matter where he would be,
God has taken him home above the clouds;
Now he is free.

He had a lot of potentials and confidence in himself--- being a police officer that he love too do, he is gone, but he want be forgotten;
A dedicated memorable honest motorcycle officer
dressed in black & blue.
We're grieving because we were not too expect, the unexpected such a tragic had occurred on the street battleground, every police officers,security firm and citizens will have to come together to take back their cities and downtown.
It hurts loosing somone you love,someone you like and someone who consider like a brother, we want to be able too change ,to stop a problem before it happens to make it right,we cannot allow these criminals and pushers to win; every law enforcement officers should use a different strategy in this fight.

Officer Catchings was always willing to volunteer for any extra assignments. He was dedicated to his job, family and friends. Officer Catchings paid the ultimate price for a citizen that he did not know. He gave of himself on a daily bases and today walks the beat with his mother on the streets of gold. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Keep the streets of heaven clean with the rest of our fallen brothers, for I will surely see you there.
