Reflections for Sheriff Matthew Nolan
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 147th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace

Sheriff, 142 years ago today you left us as a hero fighting the good fight. You will never be forgotten nor will your brother who made the ultimate sacrifice just four years earlier. I hope the two have you have found each other in a much better place and keep watch over your fellow law enforcement brethren from above.
