Reflections for Deputy Game Warden G. Earle Eldredge

While your assailants were never caught and brought to justice they surely faced a higher authority and higher justice at a later time in a different place. Thank you for your service and please know that your sacrifice is one that will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace always.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 102nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your family endured a lot of tragedy with your death and the murder of your brother years later while serving with the same agency.

Rest In Peace.

My heart goes out to the family of these two fine young men. We may never know who committed these terrible crimes but brothers are together and I am sure they are watching out for others now.
Protect those of us left here to carry-on your dreams.
