Patrolman Vreeland, you served only 6 weeks, but the memory of that service has lasted up to and beyond this 92nd anniversary of your tragic death. Thanks to men and women like yourself, the railroads are kept under constant protection. Crime will never be done away with, but it was your efforts, even only 6 weeks worth, that made a vital part of the American economy just a little bit safer.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
