Hey Buddy,

Well I am thinking about you today but, that is nothing new I think about you all the time!! Tomorrow is your Birthday and you should be here to celebrate it! DAMN!! I still can't believe it has been 7 years since you have been gone, in some ways it seems like forever and in other ways it just seems like yesterday. So much has changed, I wish you were here to share. I just have to believe that you are just in another way. Happy Birthday!!!

I can't believe it has been 7 years today when I got the call that you had been taken from us. Tyler is growing up to be such an amazing young man. I see you in him at times. We miss you Scott. You will always be remembered.

Well Scott, I don't know what to say except that it sucks that it has been 7 years since you've been gone. Today's weather goes along with the feeling crappy. I can't believe on one hand you have been gone 7 years and on the other it seems just like yesterday. I think about all you have missed and just what a short life you did live. I guess the upside is you got to experience love, marriage, and fatherhood so that is all a PLUS!!! I just wish you were able to be here see your son grow up and share other experiences with the rest of your family. You are truly missed and will never be forgotten. You will always remain near and dear to my hear.

I had the honor of talking about you today! :) Even though it was a question about your death, you were still remembered as a HERO! I still can't believe you have been gone from us 6 1/2 years, it still seems like yesterday we would hang out. Always know that you will never be forgotten by me and are always on my mind. I can't wait until we are renuited.

Hey Scott, I just wanted to drop and say HI. I have thought of you recently. Today is my 7th anniversay of almost dying at work. The prayers were there and by the grace of God I didn't. The same applies to my fellow deputy who was shot 3 times that day. We both failed to go home on this date 7 yrs ago but we did make it out of the hospital several days later. I know you are still watching over me when I still hit the beat. Thank You for being a good friend back in WA state when we worked together. I still look at our PD graduation photos all the time. I miss you bro, Dan

Well guess what buddy, your birthday is coming up this week. I plan on coming to see you this week or weekend but if I don't I hope you know that I am always thinking about you. Even though it has been 6 years there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I still can't believe you are gone. It has really made me think about my own mortality and how much I lost when you were taken. The great thing is that I still have all our fun memeories and no one can take them away. Please come visit us sometime soon, you are missed! I pray to god that the people who considered you death in vain will someday get theirs. I will have a beer to toast you but its ok I will be at hoome not driving. Until we meet again Happy Birthday and even though you are not here it is still a day to celebrate!
