My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Sepulveda, not only have I met your family after you died, I met you a few years ago when I went to PR for a meeting with officer survivors, I was there to introduced our group Concerns of Police Survivors and you were there, who would of known that a couple of years later your family was going to be part of "our family".

HOLA, SEPU:
Aqui, luego de cinco (5) anos, tratando de olvidar, lo que no se puede... "A TI"... Que cosa, no he podido en estos anos dejar de pensar en ti. NO hay momento, dia, hora, que no te recuerde. Esa risa, esa maldad de picardia en tu mirada. El gozar bailar contigo,el quedarme dormida al recostarme en tu espalda, cuando me llevabas de paseo en la motora... el viajar a PONCE, el verte cocinar, el cocinarte, el limpiar juntos, el lavar los carros, todo, SEPU, El mirarte cuando te quedabas, mirando la laguna a traves del ventanal del cuarto, por horas...diciendome "esto si es vivir, vivir junto a ti, lo mejor que me ha pasado..." Reirte a carcajadas, cuando decias "VOLVI A TROPEZAR CON LA MISMA PIEDRA, CUANDO NOS COMPARABAS A MAMA y a MI". TODO, QUERIDO, SEPU TODO...SOLO ESTAS PALABRAS,PUEDO HOY ESCRIBIRTE Y DONDE QUIERA QUE ESTES, RECUERDALAS, GRABALAS Y CUANDO CONTIGO VUELVA A ESTAR, JUNTO A TI, DIMELAS AL OIDO, COMO ME HABLABAS SIEMPRE...

sepu como es la vida buscando imajenes de motoras de policia de puerto rico salio una pag. con tu condolencias, fuistes un gran compañero y amigo y un buen policia, recuerdo tu sonrrisa y los grandes momentos que llegan a mi mente... espero q toda tu familia tenga el consuelo de tu ida... amigo ruegale a Dios por los que quedamos esto no esta facil...pero se que estan ustedes en un gran festejo.... como decimos aqui descanza en paz amigo.... el gran cachi como me decias...

Querido amigo y ex-companero has caido en la linea del cumplimiento del deber pero nunca seras olvidado. Sabemos todos tus companeros que no fue en vano. Siempre dijistes presente cuando nesecitabamos todos de tu asistencia en la linea del deber sin nunca negarte a cooperar en momentos de crisis. A la familia Sepulveda mis mas sinceras condolencias, los llevo siempre en mis oraciones. Que Dios los bendiga siempre. Amigo Sepulveda no es un adios sino un hasta luego porque algun dia nos veremos en el cielo. Vaya con Dios.

Espero que la familia sepulveda pueda tener paz en su corazón al saber que el fue un gran ejemplo de lo que es un verdadero oficial de la ley. DIOS permita que sigan surgiendo mas oficiales como sepulveda para que siempre reine el respeto y la dignidad hacia la Policia.

GOODBYE:
Goodbye is the most painful word to say,
Because I know tomarrow with you is now not
promised today.
But i am thankful that our time together
was filled with joy and laughter,
Just to say that final word was all i was after.
May your journey to the other side be safe and fun,
Because your new life will have begun.
I shall try not shed a tear or mourn for days,
Because I know that you'll be looking
down on me always.
Although it will be painful to say that
i lost my father and my best friend,
I will rejoyce in happiness to know
that heaven has gained an angel.
