Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace

Detective Goe, on this 90th anniversary of your brutal murder, I wish to thank you for your efforts on behalf of America’s railroads. Though railroad corporations may be big faceless entities, they are a major factor in our economy and need real protection. Railroad Police have provided that protection for many years. Sadly, many railroad companies have trimmed the protection almost to the point of extinction and in the long run, I can’t see it benefiting anyone. You folks are vital and should always be regarded as such.
You put your life on the line that night and lost it, not for glory, not for any other reason than you had a job to do and you did it. You are a hero, not because you died, but because you lived and despite the very sad outcome, people knew that there was a risk to steeling from the Michigan Central Railroad. We can only hope that the suspects who got away faced true justice at some point, if not in this life, then in the next. The same can be said for the two who were apprehended.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
