Sgt. Wheless, today marks the 84th anniversary of your murder. You gave your life while in the act of protecting one of the most vital assets of the American economy, especially at the time of your death. The killer who took you from your family has become a footnote and largly forgotten. You, on the other hand are remembered here and honored as a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
