Deputy Jackson, your service, dedication and commitment are still remembered. The deputy sheriffs of Washington County gained a legacy of honor that can keep them strong, in your name. As you can see from the reflections here, you are still alive in the hearts of your loved ones, even those you never had the chance to know, and in the hearts of fine officers everywhere.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

How nice that your grandchildren found this site and honored tou with their remembrances.

Rest In Peace

Deputy Jackson - Three weeks ago, I stood in the State Assembly chambers when your name was one of almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. You are not forgotten.

Thank you for you service to the people of Washington County and the state of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

I never knew my grandfather and have always felt that he was a missing piece of me. From the stories I have heard from family he must have been a very good man. My dad was only an infant when he was killed but he has missed that part of himself too. Grandpa, I wish I knew you.
